North Carolina A&T rolls past Div. II-Edward Waters, 45-7

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — Bhayshul Tuten ran for 2 touchdowns and Jalen Fowler threw for 2 extra as North Carolina A&T rolled to a 45-7 win over Division II-level Edward Waters Saturday to earn its third win.

Tuten sandwiched two brief scoring runs round a 28-yard area aim by Andrew Brown to stake the Aggies to a 17-0 after one quarter and took a 31-0 lead into intermission.

Edward Waters, an HBCU from Jacksonville, Fla., bought on the board within the closing minutes of the third quarter when David Johnson hit Damaris August from seven yards out.

Fowler accomplished 20 of 26 go makes an attempt for 243 yards to guide NC A&T (3-3). Tuten completed with 103 yards on 14 carries to guide an Aggies floor recreation that picked up 241 yards on 44 carries.

Three quarterbacks mixed to finish 8 of 17 go makes an attempt for 63 yards for Edward Waters, and the Tigers ran for 55 yards on 24 carries.
