NC law enforcement organization donates Kevlar vest to Wake County Sheriff’s K-9 unit
RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) — A North Carolina legislation enforcement group donated a Kevlar vest to the Wake County Sheriffs workplace in Raleigh Thursday.
The Wake County Fraternal Order of Police’s donation will probably be used to guard the County Sheriff’s Okay-9 unit whereas on the job.
“To have the ability to equip them with a vest as a result of they go into harmful environments the place they are often harmed. That is going enable them to function in a secure method,” Sheriff Willie Rowe mentioned.
The group mentioned the donation is the primary of what they hope will probably be a number of vest donations to the Sheriff’s workplace Okay-9 program.
