Miss North Carolina 2023 crowned Saturday night
The new Miss North Carolina was crowned Saturday night in High Point.
Taylor Loyd of Statesville won the title of Miss North Carolina 2023.
The Miss North Carolina Scholarship Organization announced the winner on Facebook Saturday night.
The competition took place Saturday at the High Point Theatre.
The moment leading up to the announcement of Miss North Carolina 2023 was filmed and posted on Instagram.
Loyd will go on to compete for the title of Miss America 2024. The official date and location of the pageant has not been announced.
The other Miss North Carolina 2023 finalists included:
- 1st runner up: Abby Britt of Durham
- 2nd runner up: Hannah Welborn-Lewis of Sandhills
- 3rd runner up: Keelie Jones of Queen City
- 4th runner up: Maura Westbrook of Cleveland
Miss North Carolina Teen 2023 was also crowned Saturday night. Cleveland’s Hanley House won the title.
