Man’s body found after boat washes ashore in North Carolina

EMERALD ISLE, N.C. (WNCT) — The proprietor of a ship that washed ashore Friday afternoon at Emerald Isle was discovered useless roughly one mile from Bogue Inlet, based on the U.S. Coast Guard.

Kyle Van Althuis, a spokesman for the North Carolina Wildlife Sources Fee, mentioned a person in his 50s was reported lacking after 3 p.m. Friday.

The boat, described as a 16-foot white heart console bay boat, was discovered operating in circles within the water near the shore.

The Coast Guard, North Carolina Wildlife Sources Fee and different Carteret County emergency personnel performed a search and located the person’s physique, whose title has not been launched by authorities.
