WAUCHALA, Fla. — Investigators from the Wauchula Police Division are heading north after a Florida man was arrested in North Carolina on alleged homicide costs.

Police stated that Matthew Scott Flores was concerned in a chase that crossed three counties in North Carolina on Feb. 2 and that he was being charged with second-degree homicide for the killing of Jose Carlos Martinez.

The chase ended when Flores crashed the automobile he was driving alongside Most important Avenue and Hollis Street. He was then taken to a hospital.
