Five dead in big rig crash after SUV driver ran stop sign, North Carolina police say

The North Carolina State Freeway Patrol (NCSHP) says that 5 individuals had been killed on Sunday afternoon in a crash that occurred close to Eastover involving a passenger automobile and a semi truck.

The crash occurred round 3 p.m. on March 5 on the intersection of Hayfield Street and Freeway 13 in Cumberland County, North Carolina.

Troopers say that the SUV driver ran a cease signal and drove into the trail of a semi truck touring north on Freeway 13.
