Comedian Gabriel Iglesias’ private jet slides off North Carolina runway
Comedian Gabriel Iglesias’ private jet skidded off the runway and wound up in a field in Andrews, according to a tweet he posted Friday afternoon.
“Everyone is ok but shaken up,” Iglesias tweeted. “Happy to be alive.”
On Friday, Iglesias was flying for his stand-up performance at Harrah’s Cherokee Event Center in Cherokee. As of early Friday evening, it’s unclear whether his performance will go on as scheduled.
On May 26-27, Iglesias performed at the Raleigh Improv in Cary.
