Armando Bacot Passes Michael Jordan on North Carolina’s All-Time Scoring List

North Carolina Tar Heels senior ahead Armando Bacot continues to make his mark with this system.
Through the second half of Saturday’s recreation towards the Duke Blue Devils, Bacot handed legend Michael Jordan on this system’s all-time scoring record along with his 1,789th level.
He is now 14th. Tyler Hansbrough’s 2,872 factors rank first.
Earlier this season, Bacot turned North Carolina’s all-time chief in rebounds and double-doubles.
The 22-year-old is within the midst of his finest season with the Tar Heels and is a candidate for the ACC Participant of the Yr award. He entered Saturday’s recreation averaging 16.5 factors, 10.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.0 block in 29 video games whereas capturing 55.3 % from the ground.
Saturday’s recreation was Bacot’s one hundred and thirtieth with UNC.
Jordan, who performed for the Tar Heels from 1982-84, gained an NCAA title with the staff and averaged 17.7 factors, 5.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.7 steals in 101 video games whereas capturing 54.0 % from the ground.
