Anheuser-Busch and the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) are donating over 87,000 cans of emergency drinking water to 37 volunteer fire departments (VFD) in North Carolina.

The VFDs receiving water include Mulberry-Fairplains Fire & Rescue, Courtney VFD, Ronda Community VFD, Vashti VFD, Millers Creek VFD, and Mid-County VFD.

Anheuser-Busch said many departments lack the budget to supply sufficient quantities of clean drinking water. This partnership is designed to deliver on this critical need and to support the local communities that our customers and employees belong to.

The donation is part of a larger nationwide effort to bring 2.5 million cans of emergency drinking water to over 600 volunteer fire departments across 47 states.
