4 dead, 2 injured in Cumberland County crash
WADE, N.C. (WTVD) — The North Carolina Freeway Patrol is investigating after a deadly crash in Cumberland County Sunday afternoon.
The crash occurred on the intersection of Hayfield Street and US Freeway 13 (Goldsboro Street). In accordance with officers, driver of a SUV didn’t cease for a cease signal and was hit by an 18 wheeler truck.
Officers mentioned 4 individuals from the SUV have been pronounced lifeless on scene, One passenger from the SUV and the driving force of the 18 wheeler have been taken to the hospital.
US Freeway 13 (Goldsboro) at James Dail Street and Wade Stedman Street are closed for investigation.
Hayfield Street at Wade Stedman Street and Bud Geddie Street at Smithfield Street are additionally closed presently.
