U.S. Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith, a native and resident of Brookhaven, observes the Lincoln County 4-H display that is part of the Smithsonian Institution’s “Crossroads: Change in Rural America” exhibition at the Lincoln County Library. The exhibit is on view at the library until Nov. 26. The exhibit offers a broad look at rural America’s characteristics by exploring how rural communities and its members have transformed in the last century because of economic and social changes. “Crossroads: Change in Rural America” will also make tour stops in Marks, West Point, Rolling Fork and Pontotoc.
