Roman Harper highlights key matchup ahead of LSU at Mississippi State
Roman Harper of SEC Network talked about what he’s looking forward to seeing from the upcoming Mississippi State-LSU game in Week 3. Harper can’t wait to see how the Bulldogs’ defense adjusts to another mobile quarterback.
Jayden Daniels is also known for being a mobile QB at LSU. The Mississippi State defense just faced Arizona’s Jayden De Laura and came away with an overtime victory in Week 2.
Harper is excited for the matchup that will take place in Starkville between and the defense and Daniels.
“Things that I will be looking at will be Mississippi State’s defense vs. this LSU offense. Especially the matchup versus Jayden Daniels. Last week we got a snippet of an electric quarterback can create problems in matchups. Learning how to blast through coverage, maintain your leverage and keep this guy in the pocket. I want to see what they learned from their mistakes last week and how that transitions over into Saturday’s game.”

De Laura had 342 yards passing with 2 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. He also did some damage on the ground with 44 yards rushing and 1 touchdown.
Fans will see if Daniels can be contained by the Mississippi State defense Saturday in Starkville.
