“No threat”: Officials investigating loud boom heard in South Mississippi

CLAIBORNE COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Leaders with the Claiborne County Emergency Administration Company mentioned native and state officers are investigating after a loud sound was heard Wednesday morning.

They mentioned the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station was not concerned within the incidence, and the location is safe.

“There isn’t any menace to the county and no motion is to be taken,” the company mentioned on social media.
