STARKVILLE, Miss.—A Mississippi State analysis staff is the recipient of a $3.1 million Main Analysis Instrumentation, or MRI, grant from the Nationwide Science Basis to extend organic and chemical analysis and educating in Mississippi.

The three-year NSF grant—“MRI: Acquisition of the First 800 MHz NMR with Cryoprobe within the State of Mississippi for Organic and Chemical Analysis and Instructing”—will fund the set up of a high-field Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, or NMR, spectrometer at MSU.
