Tyler Woodard has long been set on playing for the Mississippi State Bulldogs. He’s ready to give it another shot.

Woodard was a Class of 2022 prospect out of Freedom Prep Academy in Tennessee. The Memphis native committed to Mississippi State on April 13, 2021, but ultimately landed at East Mississippi Community College. After a season of JUCO football, Woodard is once again a Bulldog pledge.

On Monday, Woodard announced his verbal commitment as a Class of 2024 transfer prospect. The 6-2, 200-pound defensive back shared the big news on his Twitter account.

Woodard does not yet have a star rating as a JUCO prospect. According to 247Sports, Woodard also drew interest from Alabama, Arkansas, Louisville and others during his second recruitment. As a Class of 2022 prospect, Woodward was rated 3-stars.
