Mississippi State adds transfer commitment from former Colorado/Arkansas State TE
One of the top remaining targets in the transfer portal committed to Mississippi State football Saturday morning.
Seydou Traore, a tight end out of Colorado, told 247Sports Saturday that he has committed and enrolled at MSU. He originally entered the transfer portal in late April, wanting to play wide receiver instead of TE.
And it seems Starkville made an impression in that regard.
The top available transfer in the @247Sports rankings, Seydou Traore (@zikosuavejr), has committed and enrolled at Mississippi State.
He caught 50 passes for 655 yards & 4 TDs in ’22 on the way to 1st-team all-Sun Belt honors.

Traore played last season at Arkansas State before joining the Buffaloes out of the portal. He was a fantastic pass-catcher, too, totaling 50 receptions for 655 yards and 4 touchdowns.
There is a catch, though. Traore will have to submit a waiver if he wants to play this coming season since he has now transferred twice without graduating.
