Mississippi corrections officer arrested after trying to smuggle contraband – Magnolia State Live
A corrections officer with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Workplace has been arrested.
MCSO officers posted on social media that Jason Anthony Hood, a corrections officer at MCSO, has been charged with one rely of conspiracy to commit a criminal offense and one rely of introducing contraband right into a correctional facility.
The posting didn’t element what sort of contraband Hood is accused of attempting to smuggle into the correctional facility.
Hood’s bond was set at $15,000 by Choose Sarah Stevens.
