LIST: School closures ahead of severe weather threat

PINE BELT, Miss. (WDAM) – As we put together for extreme climate Tuesday, some Pine Belt faculties are already taking precautions by closing their faculties tomorrow.

The next faculties introduced closures on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023.

• Jones County Faculty District – Closed
  • A traditional schedule will resume on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023.
• Lamar Christian Faculty – Closed
  • All Lessons will resume Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023.
• Petal Faculty District – Monitoring Climate
  • The college district can have a convention name with state officers and Forrest County Emergency Administration at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday to make an knowledgeable determination concerning tomorrow’s schedule. They are going to notify dad and mom of the choice round 5:30 a.m.
• West Jasper Faculty District
  • Lessons will resume Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023.
