Former Steele High quarterback saves woman from burning home in Mississippi

GULFPORT, Miss. – Former Steele Knights quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr. is being known as a hero after rescuing a household from a burning house Monday evening in Gulfport, Mississippi.

Armstrong was visiting his mom in Gulfport once they seen smoke subsequent door.

“Noticed a bunch of smoke, so I simply began grabbing bricks and throwing them by the window,” he advised WLOX Information.

Armstrong stated he crawled into the house by a window, picked up his mother’s neighbor and acquired her out of the burning home.

“On the finish of the day, I used to be simply looking for her. I’ve recognized her since I used to be a bit of child,” he stated of the girl in misery.
