You don’t see transfers take pictures at their former head coach of their switch bulletins fairly often.

Mississippi State RB Dillon Johnson ruffled some feathers Wednesday afternoon in his switch announcement, which he posted to Twitter. Within the announcement, Johnson wrote “With that being mentioned, since I’m not very powerful and (head coach Mike) Leach is glad I’m leaving, I might be coming into my identify into the switch portal.”

Johnson isn’t the typical portal entry you’ve seen throughout the previous few days. He’s been a powerful contributor for Mississippi State the previous 3 years, totaling 1,198 yards and 11 speeding touchdowns throughout his tenure in Starkville.

He’s been a powerful receiving risk, too. Johnson has totaled 149 receptions for 864 yards and 1 landing within the Bulldogs’ offense.
