Coast Guard: 3 children missing after plunging into Mississippi River

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE/Grey Information) – Three kids are lacking after plunging into the Mississippi River late Saturday day, in accordance with WVUE and the U.S. Coast Guard.

The lacking kids, a 15-year-old boy, a 14-year-old woman and an 8-year-old woman, had been reported getting into the water someday round 7:15 p.m. Saturday night time close to the Cresent Metropolis Connection bridge. The bridge connects the east and west banks of New Orleans.

Nobody is aware of why the youngsters entered the river.

The New Orleans’ Regional Transit Authority suspended service of the Algiers-Canal Road ferry so the U.S. Coast Guard can allow its vessels to look the realm.
