Beverly Sue Tatum Cumberland, 71 of Mendenhall, Mississippi handed away from her earthly house to her heavenly house on Friday, December 2, 2022, at Magee Common Hospital in Magee, Mississippi. She was born Monday, June 25, 1951, in Leake County, Mississippi.

A memorial service might be held by her household at a later date.  Colonial Chapel Funeral House of Magee is accountable for preparations. 601-849-5031

Mrs. Sue was a member of D’Lo United Methodist Church in D’Lo, Mississippi.  She was a loving mom, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and good friend.  She loved spending time along with her grandchild and most of all taking them to church.  She might be vastly missed by all of her loving household and mates.

She was preceded in demise by her father, Henry Olen “H.O.” Tatum; mom, Mary Dennis Tatum;  brothers, J.D. Tatum and Ronald Tatum; sisters, Mary Ferguson, Wynona Peoples, Jimmie Kay Sistrunk, and Dean Sylvester.

Survivors embrace her loving kids, Jerry  Lee Gilbert, Jr. (Angie) of Florence, MS, and Sandra Gilbert Bunyard of Mendenhall, MS; three grandchildren, Justin Lee Gilbert of D Lo, MS, Brandon Lee Gilbert of Mendenhall, MS, and Kala Paige Bunyard of Morton, MS; three great-grandchildren, Aubrie Lynn Gilbert of GA, Aria Boyer of Morton, MS, Serenity Ward of GA; 4 sisters, Barbara Kemp (Pat) of Goshen Springs, MS, Retta Culberson of Pelahatchie, MS, Sandra Lofton (Larry) of Prentiss, MS, and Carolyn Tew of Pearl, MS; and a number of different members of the family and mates.
