Miami Seaquarium dolphin attacks trainer during live show

A Miami Seaquarium coach was attacked by a dolphin throughout a reside Flipper Dolphin Present Saturday.
“[It] appeared just like the dolphin rammed into the coach,” Shannon Carpenter, a photographer who was within the viewers to see the present, instructed WSVN. “There was a wrestle, some sort of collision underwater occurred. The girl on the paddleboard, she paddled out of the water fairly fast, after which the lead coach began swimming again in direction of the dock, and it appeared like she bought bumped into a pair extra occasions.”
Following the assault, the coach escaped the water and remained on her knees poolside till the top of the present.

The Seaquarium mentioned in a press release Tuesday that the coach by chance scratched Sundance the dolphin together with her hand which led to the aggressive response seen on video.

Folks for the Moral Remedy of Animals (PETA) took to its TikTok account to investigate the assault, alleging it stemmed from dolphins being pressured to carry out on the Seaquarium.
Miami Seaquarium says that is the primary time a dolphin has damaged routine and attacked. The coach was reportedly despatched to the hospital.
“This was undoubtedly painful to Sundance, who reacted by breaking away from the routine and swimming in direction of and putting the coach,” the Seaquarium mentioned. “Each Sundance and the coach are recovering nicely.”
