Miami Heat sign undrafted big Orlando Robinson

The Miami Warmth have signed undrafted heart Orlando Robinson to an Exhibit-10 contract, the workforce introduced Thursday. Meaning he’ll now have an opportunity to compete for a two-way spot — at the moment held by Mychal Mulder and Javonte Sensible — in coaching camp.

Robinson, a rookie, has began all of Miami’s Summer season League video games to date. The 7-foot large has posted 8.0 factors, 6.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 20.6 minutes per sport, taking pictures 55.6 % from the ground and 66.7 % from the free-throw line.

Robinson, who performed three seasons at Fresno State, was one of many high facilities of the Mountain West final season. He averaged 19.4 factors, 8.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.2 blocks and one steal per contest in 36 video games, taking pictures 48.4 % with a 35.2 3-point share and 71.6 free-throw share.

In his Bulldog profession, he’s averaged 15.7 factors, 8.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists, one block and 0.9 steals on 47.6 % taking pictures, together with 32.2 % taking pictures from 3-point vary and 71.4 % from the charity stripe. He was a two-time All-Mountain West member and an All-Defensive workforce honoree in his last season.
