Man injured during shooting along Palmetto Expressway in Miami Lakes

MIAMI LAKES, Fla. – A person was injured throughout a taking pictures alongside the Palmetto Expressway on Saturday in Miami Lakes, police stated. Investigators suspect it was a highway rage incident.

Florida Freeway Patrol troopers responded at about 8:55 p.m. to the westbound lanes of the expressway, also referred to as State Highway 826, close to Northwest 57 Avenue.

Miami-Dade Police Division law enforcement officials additionally responded. A tow truck eliminated a black pick-up truck. In line with Lt. Alejandro Camacho, a spokesman for FHP, there was a bullet gap within the truck’s rear window.

“The motive force (sufferer) and sole occupant of the pickup truck was shot in the correct shoulder space,” Camacho wrote.

The person who was driving the truck was at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital.

Detectives have been asking anybody with details about the case to name Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
