Man arrested in Orlando over attack at gym in North Miami, police say
NORTH MIAMI, Fla. – A former LA Health worker in Miami-Dade County was arrested in Orlando two months after he was accused of utilizing a barbell to hit a health club member over the top, police mentioned.
Main Kessler Brooks, a spokesman for the North Miami Police Division, mentioned detectives recognized the person behind the assault on the health club as Kristian Alphonso Rawlins.
Brooks mentioned there have been witnesses who noticed Rawlins’ rage and rushed to the sufferer’s support. He mentioned some used towels to cowl the sufferer’s cranium whereas Fireplace Rescue personnel arrived.
“He was severely injured,” Brooks mentioned on Tuesday in regards to the June 28 assault at 1801 NE 123 St.
Rawlins, 33, fled. Detectives bought a warrant to arrest him for the assault. Based on the Orange County Sheriff’s Workplace, deputies arrested him on the Miami-Dade County warrant on Aug. 31 in Orlando.
