Fraternity at University of Miami ordered shut down after disturbing video surfaces
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – A fraternity on the College of Miami has been shut down after some alarming accusations and a video surfaced.
Members of the Sigma Phi Epsilon chapter had been seen in a disturbing video displaying them chanting about raping and killing ladies. The video was from a celebration hosted off-campus earlier in October in Coral Gables.
A number of ladies on the get together additionally reported getting sick from drugged drinks.
Police are investigating after the fraternity’s nationwide board of administrators revoked the chapter’s constitution.
The College of Miami issued a press release saying: “The College of Miami regularly communicates a transparent set of insurance policies and expectations to all of our Greek organizations which are designed to encourage a protected, wholesome, and optimistic expertise for UM college students. We assist their resolution to shut the chapter efficient instantly.”
