3 hospitalized after plane lands and catches fire in Miami
Three folks have been hospitalized Tuesday after a Purple Air aircraft landed at Miami Worldwide Airport and caught on hearth.
There have been 126 folks on Purple Air flight 203 that landed from Santo Domingo at 5:30 p.m., the Miami Dade Aviation Division instructed ABC Information.
The touchdown gear on the aircraft, a McDonnell Douglas MD-80, collapsed when it landed on the airport, the Federal Aviation Administration mentioned in an announcement to ABC Information. It isn’t clear if that prompted the fireplace.

The hearth is extinguished and the passengers might be bussed to the terminal, Greg Chin, Miami Dade Aviation Division communications director, mentioned.
The three folks have been transported to space hospitals because of the incident, in response to Chin.
The FAA is investigating.
