Administrative legislation — Employment demotion — Probation following promotion

Trimechiah Rogers was employed as a Correctional Case Administration Supervisor on the Maryland Reception, Diagnostic and Classification Heart, which is a part of the Maryland Division of Public Security and Correctional Companies Division. In 2018, she
was demoted to her prior place inside the Division. Ms. Rogers appealed this determination to the Secretary of the Division, who referred the dispute to the Workplace of Administrative Hearings. After a contested listening to, an administrative legislation decide reversed
the Division’s determination and ordered her reinstatement. The Division filed a petition for judicial assessment within the Circuit Court docket for Baltimore County. The court docket reversed the executive legislation decide’s determination. Ms. Rogers has appealed.
