New Castle murder suspect arrested in Maryland

A person accused of murdering a person at a New Fortress lodge was arrested in Maryland Wednesday afternoon.

The US Marshal’s Workplace Fugitive Job Drive arrested Frank Deshields at a house in Salisbury, Maryland on April 27, 2022.

Deshields was charged with First Diploma Homicide after allegedly stabbing Michael White to dying on the Tremendous Lodge on West Avenue in New Fortress on April 10.

Deshields is being held on the Wicomico County Corrections Middle in Salisbury, pending extradition to Delaware.
