Maryland police, Gov. Hogan offer reward after Baltimore student shot dead at prom after-party

Authorities in Baltimore, Maryland and the state are providing a mixed $16,000 reward for info on the killing of an 18-year-old highschool pupil who was fatally shot whereas attending a junior promenade after-party. 

Jasmine Brunson was shot simply earlier than 12:40 a.m. on Could 13 whereas on the after-party following the dance, police stated.   

The Baltimore Police Division instructed Fox Information the investigation into the killing is ongoing. Authorities haven’t launched a possible motive.

Brunson was a pupil at Carver Vocational-Technical Excessive College and have become a severe boxer as school rooms shifted to distant studying through the COVID-19 pandemic, The Baltimore Solar reported. 

“He had Muhammad Ali on the wall and his boxing gloves nonetheless sitting on the mattress,” his aunt, Jessica Inheritor instructed the newspaper. “He boxed. That’s what he did. He actually cherished it.”

In a tweet, Democratic State Sen. Jill P. Carter known as Brunson a “math whiz and a chivalrous younger man.”

“He was the lifetime of the social gathering,” she wrote.
