Maryland is led by Diamond Miller, who averages 19.7 factors per recreation. Abby Meyers is chipping in 14.5 factors per recreation and Shyanne Sellers is placing up 13.8 factors per recreation.

This marks the thirteenth straight season coach Brenda Frese has taken her crew to the “Massive Dance” and the 18th time total. They received the championship in 2006.

The Terrapins have been a No. 2 seed below Frese in 2021, 2016, 2012, 2007 and 2006.

“I feel the largest factor is,  you may’t get too excessive or too low, and simply perceive it is the subsequent 40 minutes within the NCAA Event,” Frese mentioned Tuesday. “That is the largest takeaway. It’s a must to be the crew that is most locked in and most assured crew and able to lay it out for your entire recreation.”
