Maryland-based quantum computing company expands to Seattle – WTOP News

School Park, Maryland-based quantum computing firm IonQ Inc. will open the primary devoted quantum computing manufacturing facility within the U.S., close to Seattle.

The 65,000-square-foot facility is in Bothell, Washington, residence to a number of tech and Pharma corporations together with Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Panasonic and Seagen (previously referred to as Seattle Genetics).

The brand new location will home IonQ’s second quantum information middle, and be the first manufacturing engineering location for the corporate.
