Katie Benoit joined the Loyola College Maryland Division of Recreation and Wellness in Could of 2022 because the Assistant Director of Out of doors Journey. Katie oversees the Out of doors Journey Expertise program together with pupil leaders, outside journey logistics, coaching and teambuilding periods. Moreover, Katie is accountable for the climbing wall operations within the Health and Aquatic Middle.

Initially from central Massachusetts, Katie accomplished a Bachelor’s Diploma in Psychology from Loyola College Maryland. It’s throughout her time at Loyola as an undergraduate chief within the outside journey expertise program the place Katie found her ardour for the outside and management. From there, Katie went on to pursue a Grasp’s Diploma in Parks, Recreation, and Leisure Research from Ohio College in Athens, Ohio. Throughout her time in each applications, Katie pursued multidisciplinary alternatives to additional her data and keenness of out of doors schooling and recreation.

When Katie isn’t within the workplace, she is most definitely spending time outside on a path run, paddling, or mountain biking. Katie is a lifetime Patriots fan, and her day by day motto is, “Angle is the distinction between an journey and an ordeal.”
