Jaxon Smith Makes U20 World Team – University of Maryland Athletics
Geneva, Oh. – Jaxon Smith earned his spot on the U20 Freestyle World Staff on Saturday with a pair of victories over Silas Allred (Nebraska Wrestling Coaching Heart) in his best-of-three finals.
Smith topped Allred 13-6 after which 10-0 within the subsequent bout. Smith awaited his challenger after profitable the US Open on April 30. He outscored his competitors 44-2 that weekend.
The 2022 World Championships can be from August 15-21 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
