CHESAPEAKE CITY, Md. — A Maryland public sale home has offered a wristwatch that after belonged to Adolf Hitler for $1.1 million.

Alexander Historic Auctions in Chesapeake Metropolis had estimated the worth between $2 and $4 million, describing the watch as a “World Conflict II relic of historic proportions.”

Information retailers report that Jewish leaders and others objected to the sale this week, saying it had little to no historic worth.

The public sale home’s president, Invoice Panagopulos, defended the public sale and stated the client is a European Jew.
