Exelon awards 8 Md. schools with Green Lab Grants | Maryland Daily Record

Eight Faculties in Maryland are sharing in $1 million in Inexperienced Lab Grants awarded to dozens nationwide by Exelon Company, the dad or mum firm of Baltimore Fuel and Electrical, that are creating initiatives to advance STEM training in under-resourced communities.

The eight 2022 Inexperienced Lab Grant winners from Maryland embody the Accokeek Basis, which obtained $19,785 for highschool service studying internships; Digital Harbor Excessive College in Baltimore, $5,000 for its mission, Coral Reef Consciousness within the Maker House (CRAMS); the Elijah E. Cummings Innovation Middle at Inexperienced Avenue Academy in Baltimore, which obtained $50,000 for its Energy 2 Change; Mergenthaler Vocational Technical Excessive College in Baltimore, which obtained $50,000 for its work with different power, biomass and waste; Northwestern Excessive College in Hyattsville, which was given $50,000 for the its horticultural training area; Potomac Excessive College in Oxon Hill, which obtained $49,983.93 for its Meals That Fuels: A Neighborhood Cabinet mission; The SEED College of Maryland, Baltimore, which was given $10,500 for its SEED Maryland FarmBot Program; and Towson College, which obtained $47,400 for its B’Extra Local weather Literate mission.
