Del. Willkins Chosen to Chair Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland
Del. Jheanelle Wilkins (D-20) is the brand new chair of the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland. She was its vice chair.
Wilkins, who’s a Democrat, will lead the group and its 64 member legislators. The Silver Spring resident has been a state delegate since January 2017.
She has served for 9 years on the Management Convention on Civil and Human Rights. She additionally serves because the director of state and native authorities affairs.
