Amtrak, MARC trains resume after ‘trespasser incident’ in Maryland
Amtrak trains resumed service Friday after a “trespasser incident” prompted a service suspension for greater than an hour.
At about 1:55 p.m., the passenger rail service tweeted that journey between Baltimore and New Carrolton was “briefly stopped.” Amtrak trains have been holding in Baltimore, Washington or New Carrollton.
At the least three trains on MARC’s Penn Line additionally have been canceled whereas others have been delayed, based on the Maryland Division of Transportation. Penn Line service was suspended between the Odenton and Bowie stations due to police exercise, based on MARC.
