Alexandria Shooting Suspect ‘Mistakenly Released’ In Maryland
ALEXANDRIA, VA — A taking pictures suspect in Alexandria was “mistakenly launched” from jail in Prince George’s County, Maryland, in response to Alexandria Police.
Brian Wordell Morris Jr., 27, of Alexandria, is the suspect of a Jan. 15 taking pictures within the 4600 block of Duke Avenue. ALX Now reported that the suspect shot the boyfriend of his kid’s mom. Police say a 22-year-old man was shot however is predicted to get well.
Alexandria Police arrested Morris Friday with help from the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Job Pressure. That very same day, he was launched from jail. It was unclear if Morris was being held in Prince George’s County to await extradition to Alexandria. Patch has reached out to police for remark.
