City of BR to receive over $3.6M in Hurricane Ida relief
BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Louisiana will obtain $56,622,283.23 in Hurricane Ida aid from FEMA, U.S. Senator Invoice Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) introduced on Wednesday, Jan. 4.
The funding is reimbursement for particles removing and emergency operations within the wake of Hurricane Ida.
“Hurricane Ida devastated households in Southwest Louisiana, however our communities are resilient,” mentioned Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will assist Louisiana be ready for future disasters.”
