WATCH: KSR Rapidly Reacts to Kentucky's thrilling 87-85 win over Florida

Talk about a game that will get your blood pumping…

On Saturday in Gainesville, No. 6 Kentucky (11-2) scratched and clawed its way to a thrilling 87-85 win over the Florida Gators (10-4). Five Wildcats finished with double-digit scoring numbers, led by 19 points from veteran guard Antonio Reeves. Freshman center Aaron Bradshaw was the savior though, hitting multiple clutch shots down the stretch, including the go-ahead three-pointer with roughly 90 seconds left that was preceded by a timely rejection which forced a Florida turnover.

Kentucky could have easily lost this game. And honestly, it looked like they were going to for most of the afternoon. But this scrappy group found a way to get it done.

After the game wrapped up, the KSR crew sat down to Rapidly React to everything we saw from the big win. Join along as myself, Drew Franklin, and Jack Pilgrim break down Kentucky’s SEC-opening victory.

Kentucky among Southeastern states receiving FEMA disaster recovery funding

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – The Federal Emergency Management Agency announced the approval of nearly $23 million in funding to support natural disaster recovery throughout the Southeast.

Kentucky is among several states receiving funds for state-managed recovery programs after Hurricane Helene and other past disasters hit the Southeast, a news release from FEMA said.

According to FEMA, Kentucky, Florida and Tennessee will administer more than $2.1 million for disaster unemployment assistance to help those who may not be able to work as a direct result of a disaster.

Kentucky, alongside Georgia and Tennessee, was also awarded $2.4 million to fund crisis counseling and mental health support.
