Southern Ky. high school students hospitalized after using vape pen according to school officials

KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) – Authorities in southern Kentucky are investigating after 4 college students have been taken to the hospital after utilizing a vape pen.

The varsity useful resource officer at Lynn Camp Excessive College in Knox County mentioned the scholars had unwanted effects from the vape pen.

The SRO didn’t name it an overdose.

He mentioned the scholars used the vape earlier than college. He says they went to the workplace after having shortness of breath, hypertension and coronary heart charge, and feeling drained and confused.

Three have been taken to the E.R.

One was taken to a household physician.

The SRO says the vape pen contained THC however he was unsure if one thing else was in it.

A number of vapes have been turned over to police to be processed.
