Police: Former Kentucky Wildcats football coach arrested at hotel, resisted arrest

A former College of Kentucky soccer coach has been arrested, in keeping with the Lexington Police Division.Hal Mumme, who coached Kentucky from late 1996 to early 2001, was arrested within the early morning hours of Friday round 12:30 a.m. The arrest report says that Mumme refused to go away the Hyatt resort in downtown Lexington after being requested a number of instances to go away. Police say that Mumme then bodily tried to withstand the arresting officer.He’s charged with legal trespassing and resisting arrest.Mumme was the pinnacle soccer coach at UK for 4 seasons. He resigned amid allegations he violated NCAA guidelines.Police didn’t say why the resort requested him to go away their property. Mumme is scheduled to be arraigned Friday afternoon in Lexington.
