VERSAILLES, Ky. (WYMT) – The Kentucky Neighborhood and Technical Faculty System Board of Regents held a particular election this week to fill a number of top-level positions, together with chair and vice chair.

The brand new vice chair is a well-recognized face in our area. Barry Martin, the CEO of Main Care Facilities of Japanese Kentucky, was elected to the spot. One other Japanese Kentucky native, Nurse Practioner Wendy Fletcher from Morehead, will proceed in her place as board secretary.

A number of different Southern and Japanese Kentuckians serve on the board as members.

James Lee Stevens, the previous vice chair and retired Hopkins County Colleges superintendent, was chosen as the brand new board chair. He replaces former chair Lisa Desmarais whose board time period expired.
