Lexington Plans New Park With Access to Kentucky River

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — A brand new park that can permit public entry to the Kentucky River is deliberate in Fayette County.

The town plans to buy 30 acres (12 hectares) on the river close to the Interstate 75 bridge into Madison County, Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton mentioned final week in a press release. The town has signed an settlement, however the City County Council nonetheless must approve it.
