Leadership Kentucky class finishes first community visit to Berea as part of seven-month program
The 51 Management Kentucky members, who had been introduced for the 2022 class on June 20, lately returned from their journey to Berea, the primary neighborhood go to within the seven-month program.
Among the many workforce are three from western Kentucky: McCracken County residents Lee Emmons, West Kentucky Neighborhood and Technical School (WKCTC) and Maegan Mansfield, Bacon Farmer Workman Engineering & Testing; and Calloway County’s Courtney Hixon, Murray State College.
“I’m honored and excited to be a part of the 2022 Management Kentucky class. The primary session was glorious – very informative and academic – and I sit up for gaining in-depth data of our state, its challenges, alternatives, and desires all through the following seven months,” stated Emmons, WKCTC vp of institutional development. “I’m grateful to have this excellent alternative.”
There are 5 Northern Kentuckians within the 2022 class: Joe Chillo of Thomas Extra College, Whayne Herriford of Campbell County, LaKisha Miller of the Chamber of Commerce, Kim Webb of the Emergency Shelter of NKY, and Jason Wessel of St. Elizabeth Healthcare.
The flagship program consists of seven, three-day classes every month via December 2022, offering individuals the chance to be taught extra concerning the Commonwealth.
Visits throughout the state embody session subjects starting from enterprise and financial growth, arts and tourism, pure assets and the surroundings, training, healthcare, variety, social points, agriculture, and authorities.
The category touring schedule continues with Pikeville in July, Bowling Inexperienced in August, Louisville in September, Murray in October, Lexington/Frankfort in November, and Northern Kentucky in December.
The Management Kentucky Basis presents 4 distinctive applications: Management Kentucky, Elevate Kentucky, BRIGHT Kentucky, and New Executives to Kentucky.
