Kentucky Transportation Secretary Jim Grey on Thursday prolonged an official order that quickly suspends some restrictions on truck drivers bringing cellular housing to areas of west Kentucky affected by the December 2021 twister outbreak.

The order quickly exempts industrial drivers delivering cellular properties to storm stricken west Kentucky communities from most drive time necessities and weigh station stops. Drivers will need to have a duplicate of the order within the cabs of their vans to be in compliance, Grey’s workplace says, and so they should obey security necessities.

The unique order would have expired on June 1, however it is going to now stay in impact till 11:01 p.m. CT on Aug. 1.
