Kentucky State Police investigating trooper-involved shooting

SANDY HOOK, Ky. (WSAZ) – Kentucky State Police is investigating a trooper-involved taking pictures that occurred Sunday evening within the Sandy Hook space of Elliott County.

The Kentucky State Police (KSP) Crucial Incident Response Group (CIRT) has been requested to analyze the Jan. 1 taking pictures that occurred at roughly 8:42 p.m.

In accordance with KSP, the preliminary investigation signifies that troopers had been dispatched to the neighborhood of Center Fork.

As soon as on scene, KSP stories two troopers fired at a person who they are saying “turned a lethal menace to regulation enforcement.”

The discharge from KSP says the person was transported to a hospital for therapy of accidents.
