I-71 NB reopens in Boone County after pedestrian struck, airlifted to hospital

Northbound lanes of Interstate 71 in Boone County have reopened after a crash left a pedestrian with critical accidents Wednesday night.

The roadway reopened round 8:45 p.m.

In keeping with a launch from the Boone County Sheriff’s Workplace, deputies responded to the 74 mile marker for a report of a tractor-trailer that hit a pedestrian.

The pedestrian was airlifted to College of Cincinnati Hospital Medical Middle with “life-threatening accidents,” in response to the sheriff’s workplace.
